 “Imagine and see”

I am the quintessential student which is my only claim with respect to education and what primarily drives me as an educator. I have been an instructor in the Education Ministry at the Victory Church in Stone Mountain, GA (Dr. Ken Samuel, senior pastor) teaching varied course work in formats such as Bible studies, plays and workshops with particular interests in prayer, worship, women’s studies and Old Testament narratives. I completed a Master of Divinity degree with a concentration in Christian Education at the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia. My master’s thesis was on the pedagogy of empire.

My undergraduate work was in journalism and English at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I remain partial to well-written literature and plays, sometimes finding it easier to express life as I see it in poems. I am currently working on a book of poetry.

I came to Pathways via SEC’s Theology Among The People, as a student, graduate, intern and course facilitator. A native of Chicago, Illinois, I have lived in metropolitan Atlanta for much too long.
